GREAT WAY TRANSPORT CORP
As a professional transportation enterprise engaged in China/Russian logistics and transportation, Great Way Transport Corp. is active in providing one-stop solutions for different areas including railway, sea-rail multimodal container transport, bulk carrier , fresh food insulation transport and bulky cargo multimodal transport between China and Russia.
Founded in Hong Kong in 2010, Great Way (HK) Enterprise LTD has set up two branch offices in Russia one after another, Great Way Logistics Co., LTD and Great Way Transport Corp., and established offices in Moscow and Novosibrisk respectively. In 2014, Great Way International Transport Corp. was established in China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone in 2014 and the business headquarters was moved to Shanghai as well. In 2016, it took share in the Dalian Port International Intermodal Platform. Our company has built a stable partnership with Russian ports and railways with its service network covering China's coastal cities, Russian central cities and ports.
Since the transportation volume of bulk commodity, especially food and resources, has doubled due to the implementation of China's the Belt and Road Initiative and due to the further economic cooperation between China and Russia, the existing logistics based on railway transportation will inevitably become the bottleneck restricting the Sino-Russian trade growth. Considering such situation, our company actively participates in developing the sea-rail intermodal projects transporting bulk commodity through Manzhouli /Zabaikalsk border and Far East ports.
Our company takes Dalian Port Shipping Center in Northeast Asia as the base point, and Changchun, Harbin and Tongliao as the Belt and Road nodes. Apart from providing financial support, we aim to optimize transportation layout, work out a development guideline with clear goals, and improve the shortcomings in development. Meanwhile, with respect for the market rules, we strive to adhere to the market operation, improving the operating environment. In addition, our company has provided three platforms and means, endeavoring to offer customers a stable and sustainable transport corridor.
During the Russia-Ukrainian special military operations， as a senior China/Russian logistics company, Greatway first analyzed the market with a some of Chinese shipping companies, put forward reasonable suggestions and organized the fleet to be on the Chinese/Russian route. By the end of 2022, the routes that have been successfully operated with the help of the company include: China/Russian Far East line; China /Novorossiysk line; China/Petersburg line. The lines have basically returned to the levels before War.

We are mainly engaged in transportation along the routes from China's basic ports to the entire territory of Russia via Dalian, Yingkou, Qingdao port, and Manzhouli/Zabaykalsk border. Meanwhile, we further integrate logistics network resources and operate an international multimodal transport service platform featuring rail-rail and sea-rail intermodal transport.
Russia is one of the countries with the richest forest resources in the world. More than half of its land area which ranks first in the world is forest or other woodland. Russia also boasts the most forest reserves in the world, amounting to 82 billion cubic meters, nearly 1/4 of the world's total forest reserves. Its forest harvesting ranks fourth in the world, second only to the United States, Canada and Brazil, with 184 million cubic meters, accounting for about 6% of world demand.
We have long been committed to providing cross-border logistics services for smallware shippers in Yiwu and Guangzhou markets and understanding the difficulties in developing overseas markets for smallware. With our own warehouse in Vladivostok, Russia, we handle small parcel delivery in Russia and offer overseas customs clearance, tallying, stockpiling and delivery services.
